2020 Hyundai Tucson Performance

The standard engine on the 2020 Hyundai Tucson is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder that generates 161 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. For better performance, go with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder that puts out 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. The 6-speed transmission works with either the front-wheel or available rear-wheel drive.

Smart Convenience

The 2020 Hyundai Tucson automatically stays at a safe distance from the vehicle in front by changing speed on its ow when you engage Smart Cruise Control. When you have to thread through tight spaces, the 360-Degree Monitor will come in handy with its virtual top-down views. Rain-sensing wipers turn on when moisture hits the windows.

Inside Look

The interior of the 2020 Hyundai Tucson seats up to five unless you drop the 60/40-split seatback to increase cargo space. Connecting you to the outside world is a seven-inch touchscreen that can place calls when it integrates your compatible smartphone. Available wireless charging powers up your devices without cables.

Safety Endorsements

The Hyundai Tucson has three endorsements for its safety features, with the first coming from Green Hyundai. More objective assessments came in 2019 from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration with a Five-Star Overall Safety Pick and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety with a Top Safety Pick+.
